Production will be set in (Beware the Ides of) March, 44 BC. Roman sword play and togas for some,
so definitely not for the faint-hearted (especially for the latter!)
Troupe of Friends will be holding open auditions for Julius Caesar on Monday June 29 and Wednesday, July 1, from 7-9pm
at the gazebo in Mindowaskin Park on E. Broad Street, Westfield.
Show dates are August 28, 29 at 8pm August 30 at 2pm. Performances will be free outdoor shows at the gazebo.
All roles are open. And there are lots of them. Besides the two wives, other characters will be cast as women.
Rehearsals
twice a week beginning in July, then a bit more last two weeks of August. Vacations taken into account.
Play will
be set in ancient Rome. Togaphobics beware!
